FAQ

What are the requirements for joining the podcast?
Due to receiving dozens of inbound media requests per week, our barrier of entry is extremely high.

Having said that, here’s what we’re looking for:

Business

Business owners who are generating at least $10 million in annual revenue or generate at least $3 million in annual revenue if they’re in advertising, branding, copywriting, e-commerce, or marketing.

Health

Doctors who are thought leaders on general health, nutrition, psychedelics, or rheumatic diseases. Our definition of a thought leader is industry-wide recognition, major podcast appearances (for example, Joe Rogan, Tim Ferriss, or Tom Bilyeu), or having published a New York Times Bestselling Book or a Wall Street Journal Bestselling Book.

Finance

Investors managing at least a $100M fund.

Entertainment

Performing artists and influencers with at least 1M followers, a blue checkmark, or mainstream media appearances, for example, starred in a Netflix series or were nominated for an Oscar.

Professional athletes (fitness, powerlifting, triathlon, and weightlifting) with at least 1M followers, a blue checkmark, or won major competitions. Athletes from other sports have to be considered sports celebrities in their industry.

Hardy’s podcast producers make exceptions when there are signals that would suggest the guest is a good fit (for example, referral by a friend or previous guest of Hardy) but they’re rare and shouldn’t be expected.

Hardy doesn’t do paid podcast guest appearances.
What should I know before joining the podcast?
Hardy isn’t interested in short-term relationships and guests who only join the podcast because they want to promote their products. Hardy is interested in building genuine, long-term relationships with his guests who want to connect and collaborate with Hardy on a personal or professional level.

If you want to promote your new movie, music album, or book, Hardy is totally fine with that but if the podcast appearance is viewed as joining one out of a hundred other podcasts, we have to politely decline.

All podcast guests who join The Hardy Haberland Show know who Hardy Haberland is and understand what he’s about.

Lastly, 2 hours must be blocked for the conversation even though most episodes are shorter.
What do I need to get started?
Install Skype and Zoom. AirPods or any kind of headphones are mandatory. A microphone would be nice-to-have but isn’t mandatory.
How can I advertise my products and services on the podcast?
Hardy doesn’t do podcast advertising placements because he advertises his own products and services on his podcast.

Nevertheless, guests can and are encouraged to mention their products and services that are of value to the listeners throughout the podcast.

At the end, Hardy also makes sure that you can mention your website, social media channels, and things you want to promote.
